Director Shiboprosad Shares His Plans With Late Actor Rishi Kapoor, Says ‘We Were Planning To Start Shooting After Lockdown’

Bollywood has lost two actors in just two days- Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. The sudden demise of these two actors has left film fraternity in shock. On Thursday, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor died in Mumbai after battling from cancer for almost two years.
Remembering Rishi Kapoor, director Shibhoprosad said that they were planning to shooting for a movie just after the lockdown. “He wanted to shoot in October last year but it got delayed. He always wanted to shoot in Santiniketan,” he added.

Rishi Kapoor, 67, was popular for romantic roles and was a kind of sensation in 80s. His film Bobby opposite Dimple Kapadia had created a storm in the industry as it was regarded as modern day love story in that era.
The veteran actor is survived by his actress wife Neetu Singh and two children, Ridhima Kapoor and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Due to lockdown many celebrities was not present at the cremation ceremony. His family members were spotted at the site.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior political leaders also took to their social handle to express their grief on the demise of the actor.
Meanwhile, director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy had announced their upcoming project titled ‘Anthyesti.com’ on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. The news was shared on the official handle of their production house Windows Production. The other details have not been shared till now.
